Sean is now past the half way mark in his 3,600km + run from Cairns to Melbourne supporting @makeawishaust and getting close to $24,000 of his $60,000 fundraising goal (you can donate via the link in our bio).

Can’t explain how proud we are of this young man who continues to run in loving memory of his coach @coachcronshaw and set a wonderful example that Jase was and will always be proud of.

Still can’t fathom not being able to coax this b Still can’t fathom not being able to coax this big grin out of you every day…but wow we did some great things together over the last decade and I know they will keep giving back into the future.
❤️💙🖤💚
If you don’t already have details about the memorial service for @coachcronshaw next week and would like to come and share some memories with a small part of the global community that loves him, drop me a message for details.
For all those people who have commented, posted, m For all those people who have commented, posted, messaged and called over the last week, thank you. I might not have responded to everyone yet but the love, stories and most importantly, plans for future adventures and ways of celebrating @coachcronshaw's life and the wonderful impact he had on all of us, and continuing that impact for the benefit of others, has been incredibly uplifting.Personally I can't yet put into words what the last decade has meant to me or even figured out how I'm supposed to be feeling now. But I'm OK with that, the one thing the last week has taught me is that there are no easy answers in this situation and I need to be open to what each day brings. There have been a few questions about plans for the memorial service and also about any charitable donations people might want to make in lieu of flowers. At this stage, we are hoping to now hold the memorial service on Thursday 5 May, however are not yet able to confirm - other than to say that it will not be earlier than that date. We will also be giving people the option of two charities to select from if you should wish to do so, and @jacqmooney and I will explain more about that and why we are selecting them soon.Jase was many things to many people but in almost every case had a profound impact on those he spent time with in one way or another. Make sure if you need to, you reach out to his community and share your own stories - head out for a run, a walk or better yet, look back over the old posts of his Dance for Friday Honey Badger Onesie dance moves. Brings a smile to my face every time.
PART TWO: A message from@deejay0001 and @jacqmoone PART TWO: A message from@deejay0001 and @jacqmooney
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
(cont. from Part One) The Bali Hope family, who Jase was planning to reunite with in September. And so many more, like our mates at @the_440 and @flowathletic. In what none of us knew would be Jase’s final week here with us physically, he did so many things he loved. And that brings so much peace.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
We are all immensely sad that he is gone and that uniquely Jase-shaped hole in our lives will never quite be filled again, no matter how much time may pass. But to properly honour his memory our focus will, and must forever remain, on our gratefulness for all the things we have experienced with Jase in our lives, whether that might have been spread over 50 years or 15 minutes.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
Despite having no words for how much we’ll all miss this incredible man, let’s continue his mission together. Being good humans, lifting others up when they need it, and making the world a better place. He would want only good things and good memories, so let’s honour that and keep the legacy he started going into the future with nothing but love, light and positivity. Because that’s how Jase would want us to roll.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
We will of course be arranging a memorial service in the coming weeks, most likely around the afternoon of 28 April at this stage, after a smaller ceremony for family, to allow people to get together and share some of the many wonderful, funny and life-changing stories and moments we have experienced with Jase. It will be a no-suit, no black clothing and minimum formality type affair in keeping with the man we love. We’ll share more details in the coming days.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
For now, we suggest that you reach out to those in your network that knew Jase best, share stories over a drink, a meal or a call and look after one another as so many in our wonderful network of friends and family who have been drawn into Jase’s orbit have been looking after us in recent days.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
Finally, as Coach would say, don’t forget to stretch, hydrate and most importantly, be the reason that somebody else smiles.
PART ONE: A message from @deejay0001 and @jacqmoon PART ONE: A message from @deejay0001 and @jacqmooney.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
This is a message that we wish we never had to share with you. For those that we have not been able to personally speak with in recent days we are very sorry that this may be the first time you are seeing this. It is with immeasurable sadness that we have to let you know that @coachcronshaw passed away in his sleep on Friday 15 April, at his beloved home in Callala Bay.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
There is no way to properly process or understand when a life is taken away at such a young age, and we know each one of you will have a different way of trying to deal with this loss, as we obviously still are. Anyone who spent even a short amount of time with Jase will know that his care and compassion for others, 2 legged, 4 legged or otherwise, was simply who he was. As a husband, brother, son, nephew, uncle, friend, soulmate or a smiling face at the back of an ultramarathon holding your hair back while you vomited in the bushes – we’ve all become, or are continuing to strive, to become better people as a result of Jase’s influence on our lives.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
Jase lived life to the full for almost 50 years and, over the last decade, found his true passion and purpose: helping and supporting others through the power of movement. He loved nothing more than being in nature and out on the trail (the muddier and more vertical the better). Attacking extreme fitness and ultra-running adventures (from the @balihopeultra to @thespeedproject). But, above all, he loved getting up at 4.30am and training people five days a week with @vandbathletic, the company he founded with DJ six years ago to bring their shared mission of creating connection and community through fitness, to fruition.
✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴ ✴
Beyond this, Jase was an integral part of so many people’s lives, who were all the richer for knowing him. His cherished family. His many friends from around the world. And the communities he was such an important leader for: @paceathletic Rozelle Run Club, a highlight of Wednesday nights in Rozelle. @first42k, designed to help others unlock the joy he found in running a really, really long way (cont...)

Today was fantastic 🏃‍♂️ It started slow as I felt some real CNS fatigue, but as the day went on I started to feel strong. My right knee pain, abdominal cramps and dehydration have subsided. I’m doing my best to replace the calories out each day, but when you’re burning 4,000-5,000 calories running per day… it’s not easy! 🍱Massive thank you to everyone for your messages of support and donations to @makeawishaust 💙 We have currently raised $7,304 of our $60,000 fundraising goal!Thank you to my sponsors/supporters 💛
