MOVECorps
Small Group Fitness Sydney
Outdoor small group fitness classes, perfect for postnatal mums and women making a return to exercise, located just 10 minutes from Sydney CBD.
Our well organised, book-as-you-go, outdoor small group training classes are held at Leichhardt Oval No.2 in Lilyfield and designed to be just as inclusive and supportive but less intense than our popular STRONGCorps program.
Our MOVECorps Small Group Fitness program is focused on inclusion, motivation and teamwork.
We keep classes small to ensure you can exercise in a safe and supported environment.
And yes, we exercise rain, hail or shine!
All classes are book as you go, perfect for busy mums and those looking to ease their way back into exercise.

Yes. New mums are welcome to bring bub along to a MOVECorps Small Group Fitness class. However, there is no child-care provided, and bub remains your responsibility at all times. This gives you peace of mind, knowing that bub is close and you can see to them whenever you need to but enables us to keep the cost of our training low.
Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and hat/visor (for you and bub), buggy sun protector or rain cover (although we do aim to keep you all in the shade/out of the rain) plus snacks and bub’s favourite toy if it will help keep them entertained.
Always seek the advice of your GP or Allied Health Professional (AHP) before embarking on any exercise program.
MOVECorps Small Group Fitness is perfectly suited to participants starting exercise for the first time, making a return to exercise and postnatal mums. We won’t lie, our training is challenging but we ensure your exercises are suited to your current level of fitness, so no matter what level you are starting at, you will see improvements in the first few weeks and will continue to do so as we continue to challenge your capacity to adapt and overcome challenges!
Wear comfortable training attire such as a training t-shirt or tank top, running shorts, workout shorts, leggings or light tracksuit pants, and running shoes (no basketball boots, skater shoes, or similar). We recommend dressing for the conditions and wearing layers that you can remove.
Our signature V&B Athletic basic training tees are available to purchase for $15.
For your safety and that of your fellow participants, we do not allow jewellery or dress watches to be worn during a session.
We understand that, like us, you‘re keen to track your fitness progress over time plus see just how hard you‘ve worked during a session.
For this reason, fitness watches (e.g. Suunto, Garmin, Polar, etc) and fitness trackers (e.g. Fitbit, WHOOP, etc.) are permitted to be worn during a session. However, we ask that you follow these conditions:
Your watch/device remains your responsibility at all times. V&B Athletic can not be held responsible for any damage caused.
Your watch/device should be covered at all times with a sweatband, buff, or similar to avoid the risk of injury to you or your teammates and to avoid the temptation to check it during your workout.
A positive can-do attitude with a readiness to work hard and push past your objectives to achieve your goals .
A water bottle with water in it.
A spare t-shirt or something dry to put on after your session.
During the colder months, something warm and dry to wear before and after the session.
A towel. Leave this in your car so that you have it for every session. In the event you get wet (see What happens if it’s raining?) you’ll need this to dry off.
MOVECorps Small Group Fitness classes are held rain, hail, wind, or shine! If it is raining, we do our best to use cover where possible.
Prior to every session we consult the local Air Quality Index for advice and guidance on understanding the current level of air quality. Sessions are modified or relocated if required. In the case of extreme Air Quality Index ratings your session will be canceled and an alternative session time provided to you. In the event that a session is modified, relocated or cancelled under Air Quality Index advice, all participants are notified by text message.
Yes! We just need them to visit our booking page and book their preferred class time.
If you cancel more than 48 hours before the start of your class, your booking fee will be refunded to you minus credit card charges.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the start of your class, 50% of your booking fee will be refunded to you minus credit card charges.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start of your class, no refund will be issued but we may offer you a make-up class (in good faith) to attend a future MOVECorps class once within a one (1) month period.
Your Coach must be notified by text message at least 2 hours in advance if you are unable to attend training. A lot of planning goes into every session that we design so we need to know if you are attending to ensure we’re able to make any changes necessary to suit the numbers. We do offer make-up sessions (in good faith) at alternate times within the same training month should you not be able to attend your booking it due to unforeseen circumstances.
Always inform your Coach prior to a session if you have an injury or issue that you feel may prevent you from completing certain exercises. For most injuries we will offer different variations of exercises to ensure you still get a great workout without causing further injury. We don’t allow participants to self-prescribe alternative exercises, that’s the job of your Coaches and what they are qualified to provide you.
If you experience any of these symptoms during a class, please stop exercising and notify us immediately:
Acute shortness of breath
Sharp muscle or joint pain
Dizziness or feeling faint
Cramping
Nausea
Contact the V&B Athletic team on 0414 932019 or hello@vandbathletic.com.au and one of us will be able to help!
